30% price reductions ? Seems abit overpowered but i guess we will have to see when doctrines are completely applied.

Well, you'll be spending alot of CP to get the discount. We'll see how it pans out though eh?

About the, uh, artillery doctrine. I already bought howitzers for all my battalions. Does this mean I have to buy that upgrade as well to call them in?

Yes. You don't buy it with your pool of resources though (manpower etc) you buy it with CP. Everybody get's an amount of CP that they can spend on these.

Considering terror buing one of the weaker doctrines because of bad artillery and very munitions heavy abilities i would increase terror training and misdirection to 30% which is still low enough.

V1: 500 munitions, you hear it coming 15 seconds before impact, making it hardly effective at anything other than removing static fortifications....

Tiger Ace: A Tiger with more health but also more expensive, it's strong but it's basically a buffed tiger Tongue. (Recycled skin)

Propaganda: only effective against infantry obviously, it's kind of silly and is basically not really effective as it just makes their infantry run back to their spawn position. (And in EiR this is no big deal, whereas in vCoH this allows you to get hold of a sector.)

Firestorm: decent although the smoke and the delay on the artillery kind of ruin it...

Inspired Assault: Even though this gives your units an assault boost, it actually also makes them far more likely to get killed. The blade cuts on both sides Wink.

If you park a goliath next to the spawn point or simply mine the point, you could yield very interesting kills with propaganda...and a tank force without infantry is normally easier to take out.

The V1 price may be rediculous. Lower the price to 350 munitions (vanilla price, and since it can be launched from practically anywhere on the map).

If the Tiger Ace can gain veterancy, it's going to be quite powerful.

I have absolutely no clue what Firestorm and Inspired Assault actually do.

Unknown showed the weaknesses that i mean. As i see it now, Blitz will have stormtroopers, stuhs, tigers and blitzkrieg, with the powerful camo ability, And defense will be great too because of Offizier (why only defense?), 88´s and hard hitting artillery. Ace with veterancy might be good, but thats about it and it takes a while (11 cp´s! 4 rounds if u dont invest in anything else!) to get it.
Terror is by far the weakest doctrine of all. Terror training and misdirection 30% Chance should be appropriate. And why on earth does only defense have the walking stukas?

A V1 on a howie will be a guaranteed kill. Are the munitions required for an artillery strike worth the death of the howie?

It appears that Terror is made to counter Infantry. It's uncanny...

Misdirection makes Off-Map Artillery miss and go horribly astray, V1s destroy fixed weapon emplacements, and propaganda routs infantry (which is, of course, the primary foces of infantry). And, of course, Infantry has no true counter to Tiger Aces.

The V1 costs 7 CP. And it is worth 500 munitions to annihilate 1350 Manpower, 650 Fuel (a howitzer). In fact, this is a bargain price for Axis. After all, a V1, even with its 60 second call-in, will hit a stationary target.

Give Misdirection a chance of making On-map Howies go astray (10%).

Zeal could become VERY useful in EiR. Gives that one man volks squad a slight purpose.

3 new doctrine abilities are being added in 1.6:

German Steel (15% more hp on tanks) for terror Division
Allied Grit (10% more hp on infantry) for infantry Division
and Battle Hardened (-15% incoming accuracy) for Blitzkrieg Division

These are replacing engineer specilization, endurance training, and misdirection.
