it's not even called c&c generals anymore, it's Command and Conquer Frostbite 2, and this is their future business model, its crazy, no single player

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

It doesn't say no singleplayer, it says singleplayer will be implemented after multiplayer.

And you dont see the problem here? Multiplayer wasn't exactly the thing that made me love generals, back when I played it I just skirmished all day, it was just about everything else... that includes the campaign.

My guess it that the single player will be in dlc format so they can get those dollars.

All i can think of is potentially how sexy the destruction could be as you pound a house with tank shells on the frostbite 2.0 engine. Like bf3... yeah... that looks sexy...

I love the fact they throw in authentic there... Yea, the authenticity of how the units kill and die are real authentic... NOT Oh look here are some rifles, and there are 10 tanks, well did the rifles die? no sorry they are effective vs tanks, tanks go bye bye

Well there's always Company of Heroes 2. Still, figures that EA would shit on even the spinoffs of C&C.

Still not sure whats wrong with F2P. I would hope that all games go to this method.
Want the extra? Pay money, similar to buying the game.
Want to try? Play as long as you want, just missing something that you may never care about anyway.

What's wrong with F2P is it's a business model that, from my experience, is generally not in favour of the consumer. Of course, I know all about your views of consumer rights, being indoctrinated in America's far-right capitalism as you are, so there's no need to question your judgement further.

Vermillio; happily pays $50 for new game, angry that he might have to pay $50 to get all the content he wants in a F2P.
