So should i purchase Shogun 2 fall of the samurai pack for 19$ includes all dlcs.

Or purchase the shogun 2 for 22% uncludes like 8 dlc as well.

I havent played any of these games so. any sort of insight would be awesome.

Both games are excellent. The best thing to do is to buy both games for 10$ each. The Clan DLCs don't add much.

I prefer fall of the samurai to the vanilla game actually, so deff worth a buy!

After playign the samuri, the orginial seems outdated and a little old. 

Samuri you cna play with an entirly traditional army if you like, or go guns, or both.  IT makes quite the combo havign a melle army with  Cannons backing it up

FotS is more fleshed out, and you'll have better luck with it's Multiplayer scene if that's your thing(or you get into it).

While Shogun 2 armies can fight against FotS armies in Multiplayer it's an uphill struggle with the exception of a few units.

Units like Shogotai in FotS are just so ungodly powerful and the balance they strike from shitty conscript gun units and more powerful Elite or Foreign units is a good mix of gameplay.

If your only getting 1 I suggest Fall of the Samurai.(the Naval combat is better too)

Shogun 2 is a great game, both give you a good experience, the diff is that battles in fall of samurai tend at least in late game to be very similar, stand on line, arty then fire and hope your side has better moral. (very simplified, yes I know about late era samurai etc but sort not that common)

While shogun 2 is a game that has same type battles, it has a chance to have different required tactics due to the fact that there are almost no gun powder or long range arty units.

But id also like to state that out of the two, Fall of the samurai is much stabler game overall, lot less crashes and errors.
