Install SGA maps to:
C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\Europe In Ruins\Archives
Notify me of the SGA name and I will add it to the .module file. You will now be able to play the map without -dev.
This will only be done for maps approved by my team.
Approved maps:
archive.06 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\4p_Road_to_Carentan archive.07 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\4p_Vierville archive.08 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\4p_Airfield archive.09 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\4p_Airfield_Day2 archive.10 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\Lowlands archive.11 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\4p_Crossroads archive.12 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\StLambert4v4 archive.13 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\8p_Rabengut archive.13 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\FrenchCountry archive.14 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\6p_Abbeville archive.15 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\6p_Ardenne_Valley archive.16 = EuropeInRuins\Archives\6p_Sword_Beach
Now, when we were testing this, there were inconsistencies I couldn't track down. Marine said the file only showed up if he had the file in WW2/Scenarios under My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes - but I had the file only in the directory listed above and I could connect to him. -- All of this without -dev

A problem with .sga's though still is that they don't show map preview images.
fldash, the last "maps" from the list are being finalised. Once I have all of them, in .sgb format I intend on sending you them in a .rar for you to package and add to the modification.
I plan on doing multiple lists after this first list goes in.
Are you still up for building them in?

Do you want me to upload my .sga file for RadarStation?

Unkn0wn, they do show map preview images. At least when I tried it this way.
Maybe Wraith and the others can confirm.

So instead of "building them in", you'd prefer it if people still manually downloaded the .sga's?

Yes. Because some people may not want to download every map, and I want to give them the choice until Relic fixes the issue. This is quick and painless for us also as all we have to do is add the filename of the SGA into the .module file.

I still think it'd be a great opportunity to build some maps in, the need to "download" maps has always scared players off to some extent :/. But okay, if you rather have it this way then I will terminate the current process. Do you need to update the .module when maps are updated? Also, some of those maps in that list are outdated and no longer played . With OF I'd like to start fresh and fully support the OF-ready maps. (Being the ones on my list in the sticky atm)

Well, then give me a list. The .module file only has to be updated IF the SGA filename changes.
We can still build a map pack as well, as that's a single file vs many files. But we should still be giving users the option of downloading one map vs a pack of them.

Good point, I'll consider releasing a few map packs then, hopefully someone can help me with creating an .exe file . I'll get a list ready ASAP.

No, if we want to create just one SGA, you have to have all the maps in SGB format, then create an SGA with all of them.

Map doesn't show up when I place it in Archives. It shows up when I throw it in my documents\...\WW2\Scenarios but then I don't have a map preview image or weather options .

Which map? Did you edit the .module file to include the SGA name?

When I tested it, I deleted the My Document\My Games\Company of Heroes\WW2 directory entirely.
I then put the SGA into Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\EuropeInRuins\Archives
It showed up and it had the map preview.

Nope, removed WW2/Scenarios in my documents, then moved it to Archives. It's not showing up :/.
