Do you think Korean guys are cheater?

I can not understand about this, yesterday 'Bear****' was struck two V1 rocket.

He though it was shooting in Fog of war. even we had recon flight and military intelligence.
(Actually V1 rocket has other guys, I was Luftwaffe. even he was not Korean)

also 'Bear****' directly out of this game, and he said "Korean is cheater".

How do you think about it?

Korean is not cheater. cuz when we use any cheating programs, we think it is very dishonor.

Korean do not want win by cheating. as you know it is really dishonor.

Please don't think about it it is cheating, we use sound play, and watching map in fog of war.(I mean you can see the broke structure in FoW, and you can listen sound)

We are never used any cheating programs. I know sometimes you can think there's something suspicious about Korean's plays.

but we never said "you are cheater". even we have something suspicious things about your play.

Hey thanks for posting Battlebulls.

I think a lot of people will accuse anyone of cheating, especially if they are taken by surprise.

You explained what happened, and it seems legit to me.

Honorable play, or called 'sportsmanship' in the west, is a good thing to have.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

It was game of 18367.

I was axis in this game. and I played Luftwaffe, we can get low level bonus.

So i got 4 recon and smoke barrages, weapon support.

Maybe our team was two terror I guess.

around 8~9min, our team was shooting V1 rocket to their 25 pound artillery nest.

It was struck 2 times directly and nest was destroyed. problem was staring about this situations.

'bear****' was said "it is cheating, how can you shooting V1 in fog of war"

game is done after 2mins. and he said "Korean is cheater" lol how could he said about it?

I was not used V1 rocket, and other two guys was not Korean.

and I trust our team was not use any cheat program. It was lawful game.

yeah. some ppl seems even cant grasp the concept of predictive movement/strikes or how to call it. you dont have to have maphack to know on some maps where something most likely is going to be

what is good in EIR - maphacking would not bring such modest advantage here:

- coys premade and you cant see what is coming (*)
- if you have some spare fuel, you can have cheap scouting anyway

* What would be bomb though:

- ADD Overpooling check of some sort and OBFUSCATION TO BATTLEFILES pls

lol i only accused one time wind that he was cheating. but he wasnt. it was during my beginnings and he was just smarter than me.

back to the topic: i had some games with our corean sweethearts.... and there are certain things quite hard to explain.
like hearing the cloaked sniper...  Huh(at least that was the explenation, made by a corean guy)
avoiding my cloaked pak....
maneuvering tanks exatcly in our frontline breach, without scouting. and that several times in a game, always in different places....

i am certainly willing to  believe its luck. but you corean guys have quite a lot of luck.

kiss ick

It's those korean eyes. they don't have good peripheral  vision, so they make up for it with good hearing.

I had a 2vs2 where the Axis team placed a offmap on a cloaked Hellcat while it was repairing. In the moment where the Hellcat die I was a bit suprised but overall it was no reason to start to make a drama out of it.

It's possible that I was just sloppy and missed a recon or haven't notice a  lurking sniper or similiar. So my advice for you:
Where you sloppy and missed something?

I don't think the Korean guys cheat.

But a few people have mentioned the possibility of a sound mod that gives infantry more distinct sounds, even in the fow. I've seen a few replays that were sent to me (and observed in game) a few instances where this seems plausible.

Such a thing wouldn't technically be cheating but it would give an edge with mortaring/artillery in the fow.

You don't need a special sound mod for stuff like this. A good soundcard, headset and a very fine sense of hearing is enough for that.
CoH has some other bugs and if you use them you can find ATG (common one) or detect mines in the fog of war (uncommon one).

But all these stuff need time and brain capacity which means that you will lack of micro or unit preservation.

The thing with the atgs' and detecting mines don't need a modification to the game to do (just look for illogical cover where it shouldn't be or try to place mines and get the red x), but knowing where to mortar/artillery a cloaked sniper is another story.

But you dont need to modify the game for that. You can counter barrage a mortar because you will see the unit in the FoW when it hits. It's the same way like following a sniper by clicking on "unit sniped" icon. Espacially if you have a shortcut key for using that message.

You have misread what I wrote.

I did not say "counter barrage a mortar". I said "knowing where to mortar/artillery a cloaked sniper" as in, mortar/artillery were both verbs in this instance.

In order to know where to shoot your mortar or your artillery at a cloaked sniper that has not fired would require either incredible luck, pyschic abillity, or a subtle sound mod (which is not technically cheating) which would tell you, in the FOW, where a sniper is even while it's cloaked.

Please read carefully what I have written so you do not argue against things that were not said.

Don't start to go on that route. You know that english is not my main language and there's no need to start the "read more carefully" thing. It would be enough
to point out the main intend of your post and the thing I missunderstand to make it clear. No need for going personal.

And if the mortar doesn't shot and the sniper is keeps its rifle calm you don't need to know where there are because the unit itself it not a serious thread. In the time  where these units start to fire, the game provide you everything to be able to to interact with them.

I know it's not the thing you try to point out wiht your post but it doesn't make the context of it wrong.

Dude that literally was not personal. French is not my main language, so I have to read shit in french 5 times more than i would normally to make sure I understand what is being said.

"read more carefully" isn't personal. "you're stupid and fail at life" would have been personal (and a dumb thing to say).

I never said anything about finding mortars in the fow. I also never said anything about the snipers shooting first.

In the replays i've been sent and the games i've seen, it has appeared that the snipers/stormtroopers have been tracked in the FOW by artillery/mortars with no indication of where they would be.

You are literally arguing things that have not been said.
