Several times on the forums, people have made references to the different styles of gameplay you will find in early, mid, and late-game EiR.  Could somebody explain the differences between the three, for the benefit of the noobs as much as myself?

You're not a noob Smiley.
The difference is the popcap available.

Popcap increases over time untill it hits the cap.

Therefore, calling in a KT when you have 24 PopCap is really stupid.

Basically, the trend is - Early - Infantry skirmishes and some support weapons usually.

Middle -  Light and medium tanks, some armoured cars and infantry.

Late - Heavy tanks and infantry swarms take over here. The game is usually won or lost by the time you get here.
