I'm sure most of you know me as a 'problem' person. One of those people who come with limitations and special conditions. By that I mean that I can't connect to at least 5 people on EIR at the moment. I can't exactly remember everyone, but I do remember that 3 of them are Kotori, APEX, and smithy12. Sometimes Unkn0wn as well....

I have asked before, and gotten unclear and/or confusing answers. Is there any way that I can improve my connectivity with people? If so, how do I do it?

My modem is a Bell Speedstream 5200, if that helps.

Have you opened ports for 6112-6112? Can't really help you here, I suppose you could buy a linksys router instead. Linksys doesn't seem to have connection issues. Then again, I'm no expert, so someone else would probably be able to help more.

If your having trouble, trying opening these ports on your modem.

   UDP   6112
   UDP   30260

That usually fixes it.

Set static IP on your comp, goto router/modem, set the computers IP under the DMZ option in security/access. Enable DMZ. Done.
