Or maybe it will be xcom style, they will give you only 1 ship with the choice of three modules! And instead of resources, because thats confusing, the modules will be free and will define the entire ship leaving you free to concentrate on the click and watch combat!

And I said the stories are pretty decent, pretty good even by video game standards but nothing nobody has ever seen before if they've seen a lot of WWII movies and the like, go watch BoB.

Why is gearbox given so much flak, the borderlands series was fantastic, i see no deep seated reason to hate them so much, if it was EA i would understand, but give them a chance frankly.

Duke and CM, how'd you let that fly past you?

And borderlands is quite shallow at the core, it's got "charm" if you're into what it sells but it in no way shows any form of competence for making a homeworld sequel. If CM has shown anything it is that the gerabox management is rotten to the core with no integrity whatsoever. with this in mind, why the hell should we be giving them the benefit of the doubt?

It remains to be seen what they do with the title. Cause that could make or break it. Outsourcing. Bad. Internal new features bad.

Just give me some dust clouds, rocks to mine fighter through capital ships and a space tech tree. Once you establish a successor, then I'll let you add in ship customizations.
