Yeah, sell that to civilians, makes total sense, go free gun laws!

The officer is considerably better than a riflemen squad at carrying weapons.
Officers have good accuracy so they will hit most targets.

If someone is planning to kill someone else, no amount of regulation will ever stop it.
Looks interesting, and at $22,000 I don't think it will be a common street weapon...
This actually got me thinking, I was just considering what technologies are going to be the most damaging and dangerous and I think that that internet is going to be the top of that pile.
It allows free access to anything, bomb making, techniques for anything, documentation for anything, etc. Hell, 3d Printing wouldn't be dangerous at all if it weren't for the free distribution of weapons blueprints.

God damn thats expensive! And these are going to be so limited your most likely going to know who did it less than a few hours of the snipe occurring. Which defeats one of the big reasons you would snipe.

Not to mention there aren't many areas where you are going to shoot someone from 900m...

It's not like crazy people with nothing to live for haven't climbed tall buildings with clear sight lines before. Just with that, you won't need years of training to make good on it.

I'm going out on a limb here but I believe that people who want to get the gun, criminals even, will easily get to it, 22 000 are peanuts for most, since they dont actually buy it.
