Don't worry guys, Wind is also convinced that the new nebel is op...
It's another example of a clown carnival unit that fosters lazy, autopilot, careless gameplay.

a unit that gets next to no kills on its own that realistically should just be used as preludes to attacks fosters lazy play? A unit that demands that you use it in conjunction with other units to be truly effective is an autopilot unit? Please elaborate for me why its stupidly OP...

lazy, autopilot, careless gameplay.
You mean like blobbing all your infantry together like you did in this game? http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=26790.0Axis finally have useful artillery so you can't blob like a noob anymore.

Go use a nebel. Direct hits cause some kills but you mostly weaken men, you damage the shit out of squads, but even after 35-45 minutes or so heartmanns vet 5 nebel with its damage boost had maybe 17 kills and it wasnt because it was missing... (thats at least 10 barrages) Thats not to say its because its bad, the new nebel is great, but hardly op...

You're thinking of Mysthalin's blob, not mine (3-4+ tommy squads). And he did really well with it. l2watch replay and think before typing (never gonna happen with you but we can still dream)

He did not do well with them, he lost most of them to blobbing without having achieved anything. Then when he does flank around with a tommie squad and an officer he manages to decrew a pak and push the enemy back. It just shows how powerful flanking is compared to blobbing, because you catch the enemy by surprise. If he had done that with every infantry unit you could have won that game, although there was a lot of unsuccessful tank charges too, your team would rush in with tanks without flanking and without support. Again flanking and careful micromanagement is the answer, not throw your shit at them and hope to win.

Pony, you're Pony. One of the worst players going.
Mysthalin did great with that blob and it definitely earned its cost.
Learn to play and then come back and try to analyze Myst's play in this game.
Until then do everyone a favour...

Meh.
Puddin flanks with a shit ton of singular purpose units, kill everything he can, and leaves. He hardly just throws his shit at you...

Watch the actual replay of that game pony. The blob came into the fight completely spread out and attacking across a broad front, grabbing a good deal of land but not really being able to kill anything as mostly everything the axis had was mechanised. Since their anti-infantry capacity was not needed - the latter blobbing up of the brens had a very specific purpose - to draw out goliaths which I hoped to either shoot down before they get close or sacrifice bren squads for. Either of which would have been fine by me - rather lose a bren squad than later get a firefly/cromwell shat on.
I ended up losing 4 guys from the 20 guy blob to 2 goliaths by effectively splitting up my units (that in particular was caught in the shoutcast). Worked out fine tbh.
