From your link of WW2 American tanks:

The M22 Locust - the way it would enter the game is literally by being a re-modelled tetrarch. I.e. faster, greyhound armour stuart. I.e. Worse than greyhound because no .50 cal. Might as well just give AB the capacity to get tetrarchs (could replace the lulzy mine unlock).

The M6 - never entered service, but ASSUMING IT DID... I presume it would be added in as simply a slower pershing (4 speed?) with either the 90mm gun or 75mm/37mm gun duo. 90mm variant would be useful in Infantry and Airborne, I guess, while the 75mm/37mm variant would be restricted entirely to airborne, assuming they don't just grab a nice little M10 for their anti-P4 needs. I don't see how it would be warranted to give allies access to a slow pershing as a base, so it'd have to be a reward unit.. Doesn't help roster.

M2 Medium Tank - a slow, armored LATHT? Could probably add it if somebody bothered to code it, but it just seems like something the allies would never really use.

T14 Heavy Tank - with only 2 built, yet another one for fantasy. All it would be warranted as is a re-modeled Mk. 6 Churchil. Why bother?

T29 - if modeled in I guess it could serve as the American KT, which would be cool (3.5 speed pershing with 0.8 modifier to pen and increased health (1500?), and a slightly more powerful gun). Probably cool as a reward unit. Does little to help the american basic roster though.

T20 series - an up-armored sherman (maybe 0.8 rec pen mod sherman armour) with better accel/deccel values. Would add a bit of choice, I guess - do you want the more unwieldly, cheaper sherman, or the more reliable T20 series tank? I personally don't see what the point is other than fluff. It's really just the same tank.

T28 - Remodeled Jagdtiger. Potentially move at maus speed and have better armour/health than the jagdtiger. Awesome as a reward unit? Yes. Any help to the limited US roster? Nope.

T30 - Same as the T29, with probably a Super-Pershing HVAP gun as a base. If adding more reward units, then chose one or the other. No real point in adding both.

There you have it. Out of all the tanks in that list, only two could feasibly be on the regular unit roster - one of them being a slow and armored LATHT, the other one being a more reliable, remodelled sherman. The others would just be fodder for reward units.

Meh, i'm sure i can make a UV map of it, but it would take a bit of time.

I'm just wondering who you actually have to animate that kind of thing. If anything, i might be able to re-use the animations from the church, but i can't remember for the life of me what the tank bone setup is like.

Xeoniz has animated models for us before. I will not promise anything and it's at his discretion when he works on our models cause he is super busy, but he has done it in the past. The M3 Lee is from him.

Lets just say we have someone in house with the skills if he's available. The thing is we need models first.

Ahhh yes, i've seen him around a few times.

I'll see what i can rustle up regarding a UV map on that turret, and also see about animating the turret too.

It shouldn't be too hard. It's not really getting them done, it's the fact that the tools and object editors and all that arn't relic tools. They are community tools. Which means that there a bastard to set up and the chance of getting it to work first time round would be fucking amazing to achieve.

In all honesty, it's piss easy to me. It's the fact it can get very frustrating and boring as hell when shit doesn't work or go right. But i have a ton of time on my hands and i may as well spend it here. I'l' see about getting something done in the next few hours, i've gatta "obtain" 3ds max 8 again.

I'll be posting this stuff up in a thread, along with a few other things i've been working on the past few days too. Would really love to help you guys out this time round Wink

Could probably add a Sherman 105 if we wanted to, though I'm not sure it's really something the US need. The biggest gap really is heavy tanks for the British.

It was 2 prototypes that were made, and were actually sent to defend to different places. I believe the  Maus v2 was sent to the High Command Bunker. (not sure whether or not they actually saw combat, but technically they did 'fight' Not sure if anyone really knows, battle being chaotic and all)

4 more hulls of the V2 variety were in production.

yeh I knew atleast one saw combat, I recall seeing photos of it where an internal detonation had blown the turret off its mounting.
