Jumbo:
+too good vs everything
+mg for free saving munis (boo)

Rangers:
+Too survivable with bazookas, not enough pool cost
+Can solve too many problems ingame with grenades

When you see SO many players doing the same combo, you know somethign is wrong.

Well it kind of means that they found a cost-efficient start, not that something is wrong.

Not going to theory craft here, but there are equally powerful cost efficient stars everywhere.

I mean, lets say it for what it is. Starting with a jumbo is the allied equivilent of starting with a Tiger. Come prepared.

I agree groundfire. But when a build is cost effective against everything, it's usually overpowered. I've yet to see this start not work out other than being mauled by super situational stuff like goliaths raping 2 ranger squad etc.

Lol... whenever axis find a "strong" allied point they want to nerf it! This is not stronger than other combos... suck it up! and find a counter

The only the thing that makes this combo powerful is T4 Tank Reapers cause it effects both Jumbo AND bazookas. Aside of that, this strat has its vulnerabilities.

It's the fact Tank Reapers makes bazookas ridiculously powerful and panther skirts is lulz against axis weaponry (especially the pak 38). Nerfing the +74.57% DPS buff vs tanks on Bazookas from tank reapers would be a good start (the buff essentially makes bazookas equivalent to shreks for all intents and purposes(if not better than), and changing Jumbos to have Churchil Armour with, say 800 health, would also be a good idea.

I rather like giving axis a taste of their own medicine. but groundfire proves a good point it's still got holes in the build when i used it i didnt have any sniper counters. and with with every PE player running 5 Fj snipers it can get annoying :p

Infantry is a wee bit OP doctrine that is being used to compare other doctrines - slippery slop I say.
