That's already in COH2; all ballistic weapons function on a combination of scatter vs ifs try and accuracy vs vehicles. So you're saying that there are no "to hit" homing rolls anymore? Becasue the game certainly still uses accuarcy in a lot of ways like CoH1 did as far as I can tell. PQ, we did away with accuracy altogether, accuracy is 0 for all weapons. Do you mean artillery type weapons by Ballistic? Because I'm referring to everything from small arms to artillery.

I mean hell, he just figured out how to drop the accuracy values entirely and replace it all with scatter (all weapons hit on scatter and collision detection, no magic homing missiles) for his own mod last I heard... I'm just saying, I'd play that.

UI does feel like a bad Facebook game. And among other issues, no options to swap back to a CoH1 keybind layout (its hard to forget hotkeys that you've known for 3+ years) and the SWAP OF THE UI POSITION OF BASE BUILDINGS AND FIELD DEFENSES.
Pq, you have GOT to talk with the guys at Relic. For serious. At the very least swap the two build menus because I've lost count of the number of times I've gone to the opposite menu I wanted--and on that note, could the "+ Muni"/"+ Fuel" OPs be moved from the base building menu to the field defenses menu? It's a change that makes no sense tbh.

Dont forget this is beta and about 2/3s of the game is just straight up missing.
There are still units that are unavailable in beta... going to be a bucket load of maps... and lets be honest we all just want EIR 2... half the reason I got CoH2 was for the impending EiR 2.
As to the whole "to hit" roles the only thing that I have found that works that way is the faust. and the nice thing is it doesnt herp out when the vehicle moves out of range. If your target is in the ring when you shoot it the faust will fire far enough. Now i havent tried to break this mechanic but I have noticed how nice it is that your squad doesnt retard jerk after the vehicle.

I think you guys just don't like change. I find the graphics better. and once you get accustomed to the look of the game it's perfectly fine.

I think you guys just don't like change. That's what i found out already. They complain about everything, but CoH2 is really good. Some balancing has to be done, but comon, where was CoH1 when it was released.

Check your graphic settings tbh, it looks pretty amazing with everything on high or max IMO, though the style does differ slightly from COH 1. I don't know what it is exactly but something about it makes me think of Men of War.
Anyway, you get accustomed to it pretty quickly, and the new weather and terrain effects are pretty good at least.

This is something we'll have to heavily modify for EiR2. We want some Blizzards, but we don't want them so early. It's nice to establish a game pace and then have the Blizzard set in. We also want there to be more then 60secs warning for a Blizzard. Player will have to prepare positions, or call in specialist units for offense in Blizzards and they need time to do that. Blizzards may also last longer to fully allow for the usually slower pace of EiR to take full effect. Longer time to grab back territory against something with Offmap heavy companies. Or more time to Flank positions in the reduced visibility.

blizzards dull gameplay alot all you do is cap the points right before a blizzard and hunker down for a couple of minutes.
Even without the caping it's boring as shit looking at your screen waiting for the blizzard to leave before you do anything.

That may or may not be possible depending on what tools Relic provides us with, really.
As for Blizzards, I don't like them in COH 2 personally but I'm confident that we can make them work for EIR. (Tone down the effects if needed, etc)
