Gearbox make hit and miss games and seems to have shitty management.
Wargaming makes f2p games with shitty economic models meant to nickle and dime gamers to death and have zero respect for anyone not Russian with their primary community guy seeming like an outright Stalinist. If they are going to make ANYTHING it's probably going to be more f2p shite.
Gearbox is a faint hope at the very least, I'd put just about zero on wargaming making anything faithful/good. Also, while gearbox experience with homeworld style games is slim to say the least, I can't exactly say you could hope WG to do better.
