Happend to me and Skunker (first to me and like a min later to him)

Was useing engy´s to build Sandbags (build menu open, in placeing mode) at the time it happend

You'll need to try to reproduce for fldash to be able to fix this, unless it's some sort of known issue, which I doubt.

Same here! I can confirm that this is a bug!

The game doesn't really crash, just everything on the screen.

For me it happens when I get a Vet1 Sherman on the field and when it get's upgunned.

If I turn my camera away from the Sherman and then back to it again then my Sherman will go invisible, and just one second after it went invisible it will mess the whole screen up - making it unplayable.

Mods please look after this, because it's the second time I'm having this after the reset - never had this before the reset :s

If it happens to me again in the future I will make a screenshot of it as well.

This is a vCOH bug.  It used to happen to me in vCOH alot.  The video card loses access to the DirectX display.

And i Gess Relic Knows it, but don+t whana spend around 1 mille $ on fixing it?
Sounds ok...

But I hate it, losses some battels of it,
There sould be a way to "redraw" a battel, if the games buggs, or something like that

Whoah it's now happening to me like each battle.

And you must know that it didn't happened before the reset, so it's really odd.

Also, it's really impossible for me to play, as you can see I've lost 4 times and that because 3 out of those 4 times I had the bug and had to leave the game....

How i Got this to work

1, re stat computer
2, remove CoH
3, reinstald Drive X
4, restart computer
4, instal CoH

I had this happen to me all my games, but then i did that, never had the same problem again

updated it like yesterday or the day before, but the bug went active after the reset of EIR and now I seem to keep getting it in 75% of my games....

The weird thing is that I only get the bug if I play as allies that's why I'm sure it's nothing on my computer that's wrong.

this happend to me alot post expasion, after the first 2 post expansion patches it happened alot less


now that we are playing EIR once more its happening alot more

its very Flustrateing, i only get the one with the black background though



a $3000 System shouldnt have this kinda bullshit problems.

I had this problem alot right when OF came out, I haven't had it in a long time though.

I've heard of this as well.  It is directx that is the problem.  Reinstall those drivers.

Ive had this when OF came out as well, also ive had it recently where my screen litteraly goes black, i can see outlines of trees and such and i can see areas that are lit up with lights ingame, but other than that its purely black.

No because those were even crapier and with that my PC sometimes crashed. Now it doesn't crash anymore and I had the problem after the reset a few times, then updated drivers, then the problem is still there -> which I'm positive about that it's probably a relic bug.

I'll check if reinstalling DX9 will work though.
