Maybe it is later on, but tthe first 3 hours are good so far.
(Acting isn't overly good, but come on we are dealing with a alien invasion scenario)
It may look better than it plays, I've played the first few hours of the game myself (on hard)... It''s got clunky controls, poor pacing and it's got about zero relevance to xcom but the name and some references to EU.
