Considering the pure vomit that passes for a AAA game these days, I decided to go back to when developers actually cared about the game and game play not how many chests of gold theyd fill.

Which is why I just bought possibly the greatest rts ever made.

and the greatest rts ever made is C&C Generals: Zero Hour

still being played and modded today and so fun they remade it with a new engine.

Hahaha aaaawww I loved this title, got it on an old laptop and sti play at times, had a great LAN battle wth some friends a year or two ago^^ lots of fun and interactive story^^

Its not tooooo bad.  And kinda fun for LAN parties.

Dune 2000 was pretty awesome for me. used to play that a ton.




Also metal fatigue was pretty amazing. multi level combat customizable mechs goood times

nah I missed the whole mark of chaos/battlemarch saga it didnt last on aussie shelves for much over a year back in 06.
but I have just ordered it on ebay.

And aero dune 2000 was the fucking shizniz.
I loved the worms eating shit.

Not a fan of warhammer mark of chaos/battlemarch.
it feels too much like warcraft.

No shooty units need real line of sight, theres also no friendly fire by archers or musketeers.

tho I do like the variety and unit customizations.
