Now that I think about it I'd honestly like to see pershings and tigers being limited to 1 per company, ala' super heavies. If they're supposed to be strong, badass tanks like most of us want, doesn't that make sense? I realize some people like running "Tiger/Pershing Company" but a pair of them honestly seems like overkill if they're going to be, well, awesome.

Are they not killable? I would prefer to see the pop value go up if anything. Heavies should be dangerous.

They are way too powerful, they're not supposed to be able to round up 50-80 kills every game with ease and obliterate handheld AT and AT guns like it was peanuts. You just removed the Maus for this very reason !!

Well, that tells me it's not the range bonus then. Since the ATG is still longer ranged than either one. Are they not countered by ATG fronts or TD's currently?

1. certain players have honor and dont use op shit.
2. they are really too powerful
3. with the new enviroment, few fire up suicide missions, does the tiger only need a small accuracy buff to his old stats
4. Less cloakable paks (deal less damage without ambush) and few marder lockdown (giver penetration) are an indirect buff to the pershing. It was never bad in the past it was only the tiger who had to struggle.
5. I vote for going back to their old stats and giving tiger 5% more accuracy => 0,8*0,75 = 60% chance of hitting the target on a range of 40. (compared to persh 56% chance to hit)

The range makes it easier to get in range with AT guns and snipe them with 1-2 shots which has become much easier after the semi-removal of pak cloak and AP rounds.
Tank Destroyers can damage them but the new range means TD's don't have any range advantage like before and because of the Pershing and Tiger's improvement as anti-infantry killers, all you need to do is keep AT guns around to deal with vehicles.
so let's summarize the counters for the pershing and tiger:
Handheld-AT - gets obliderated before they have any chance to get in range after the removal of ab fire-up and storm cloak
AT guns - gets obliderated before they can fire more than two shots, barely able to penetrate anymore after the removal of pak cloak and AP rounds
TD's - gets obliderated by ATG creep or by the pershing/tiger since they no longer have any or only a small range advantage
Stormtrooper cloak is one of the more essential parts of blitz, it should not have been replaced by cloak in cover, blitzkrieg is a mobile doctrine, not defensive.
Messing with range is a bad idea as have been stated many times in the past, it really screws the balance. ATM the Pershing and Tiger have almost twice the range of most hand-held AT weapons which makes them near impossible to counter. The StuG IV benefits from range increase since most TD's generally have longer range but the Pershing and Tiger we're already two of the more powerful all-around units. Making them better than the Tiger Ace and Super Pershing is not the way to go in EIR's already heavy tank focused metagame.

So basically, the heavy armor counters (ATGs) got nerfed to oblivion, and that combined with buffs to heavy tanks has made the Tiger/Pershing too powerful.
The part I don't understand is why the ATG's got caught up in this whole "Abilities at Vet 1" deal. That would be like Mortar smoke being only on Vet 1, or .30 Cal AP only on Vet 1....
Infantry Fire-Up and Cloak at Vet 1 sounds fine, the changes to support weapons is silly.

Yeh I gotta agree there, atgs could really use their a abilities back without vet requirements, Even the poor old marder who doesn't have the luxury of a single man retreating and thus retaining the xp/vet

Wtf pony? You should know the procedure by now. Everytime new shit gets implemented everyone tries it out. If 'every single player' still makes a Pershing/Tiger company after around a month since the patch,
then
you know somethings wrong. As of now, things are still completely as usual.

a stormtrooper in ww2 france was mostly a ostfront vet with a special training...
The new assault method had men rushing forward in

I was 3 years the stormtroops not using just skaffa said to me 3 month ago I should use they for disable a atg with bundle nades und he was right it works well.
If they havent invisible and doesnt become for this a better firepower I will this not use they again without sadness like the years before but a little bit historical correctness would be good for this Mod because I think some daily players here be Fans of it.
And the elite rifel G43 is a very powerful wapon in close combat and for snipering!
The Mod can remove the wapon complet but if it there it should working well....
