Invasion of the United States to Panama , codenamed Operation Just Cause (lol?) was launched in December 1989. The invasion occurred during President George HW Bush, and ten years after the treaty Torrijos - Carter, which was adopted as the transfer of control over the Panama Canal back in 2000. During the invasion was a Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega deposed and new elected President Guillermo Endara sworn the presidential oath and the Panamanian Defense Force was disbanded.

In this statement, Bush claimed that Noriega state of war between the United States and Panama, threatening the lives of 35,000 U.S. citizens living in Panama. Between U.S. and Panamanian forces were also frequent clashes , one U.S. Marine was killed, even a few days earlier and there were also a few persecution of American citizens .

The fight against drug trafficking. Panama became a center of money laundering from drug trafficking and transit country for drugs in the United States and Europe.

Protecting the integrity of Torrijos - Carter treaty. Members of the U.S. Congress and other American politicians have claimed that Noriega threatens the neutrality of the Panama Canal and that the United States has the right under the treaties to intervene militarily to protect the Panama Canal.

I just don't see how it is relevant to Russian warmongering and imperialism. Are two wrongs supposed to make a right? Do you think that the US's many crimes against international law somehow justifies Russia acting the same?

I don't know what world you live in, but in the real world USA is criticized widely for its "world policing". Since you seem to be so cozy with Russia then you don't need to look any further than their state sponsored propaganda.

And like I said before, what the US have or have not done in no way justifies what Russia is currently doing in Ukraine. The world isn't just a sandbox consisting of Russia and USA fighting over some toys (the toys are the rest of the world in this analogy).

Pretty much the only thing USA can do is punish Russia after whatever happens next with economic/diplomatic sanctions. Lets hope the situation doesn't become so bad that this has to be done...

Also, Ukraine has been given an Ultimatum by Russia. Might heat up tomorrow!

It's bullshit, nobody can verify it. A Ukrainian minister said so, the Russians say they didn't. For instance, a similar ultimatum was claimed to have been issued to Ukraine and expired yesterday, but nothing has happened.

Basically, Ukraine's government is a joke, Putin and the US know it, Putin took advantage of a country with an unrecognized government to take back Russian lands assigned to Ukraine when it was still part of the USSR. They already owned it anyway, it is the home of the Black Sea Fleet.

This is similar to a scenario where Japan's government collapses, and the US moves to secure Okinawa.
