Hi Guys,

It's been an exciting Saturday with the new patch having rolled out and I understand you guys have been having fun. Saw well over 20 people online most of the day, so that is quite hopeful - hopefully the future changes we make will keep the pressure up!

Just to keep you all in the know - we're aware of the bugs that have cropped up in the patch. Some of them have been posted in the forums, others have been kindly sent to me via steam or forum PMs. Some we have found ourselves. We will endeavour to fix them as soon as possible, hopefully over the course of the next 24-48 hours at most. If you find anything silly or that seems off - don't hesitate to message us. Sooner we know about it, sooner it can be fixed.

I understand the AVRE has been on everyone's minds quite a bit recently. Heck, I racked up 70 kills myself on a single AVRE in one game I played - and it does seem somewhat off. I do believe the main culprit here is the middle T3 which grants +5 range and -15s cooldown. 0.66 reload as a T3 (which is what it effectively is) would make any tank a bit silly, so we will be removing these two doctrinal buffs from the AVRE with the mid T3 (Hull Down is still an amazing ability by all means). We'll keep a close eye on the AVRE afterwards, and if it seems to be overperforming, well bring it into line. We'd just much rather do it slowly and in steps towards becoming reasonable, rather than just quad-nerfing it into oblivion.

Just the range, making have to come more into AT range will do wonders.

Something I felt as well. Even in a persistant mod there's room for a "sort-of" dispensable breakthrough unit. The way it is now it feels like it's been made into a artillery support unit that stays on the field most of the game.

That said when I've countered "today's" avre I have been molested brutally and sucked hard.
