Awful. Bad. Insufficient.

Unable to get a date sitting in a lamborghini, sporting a 8-pack and being the comedic anti matter opposite of Keanu Reeves wearing a tie and looking at the ground.

There are many things of literary value to be said of the sten/rifle commandos. But that it can be beaten, bound and raped into something remotely useful is the thought of a irrational mind.

Top t4 caters to some tet spam (which isn't that bad) but the buffs it gives commandos is lacking.

This thing needs to be reviewed, and I would suggest that since commandos are the only moving small arms you can normally get as british, they should get  more pronounced role.

On their own without smoke or smoke on cooldown they get owned by grens, a cheaper unit which frankly its worth trading for commando squads.

Perhaps there are viable builds by bringing 2 officers at once, activating heroic charge fighting some volks.

But once axis brings their own offensive buffs, this unit is near useless outside of smoke or heroic charge and hardly have any role.

That they really receive the -received accuracy and accuracy bonus with this t4 astounds me. It's almost like it doesn't matter.

Instead of buffing the numbers, lets reconsider. Both middle and top T4 supposedly are commando unit T4s. But they are very unpopular and it straight out seems worse than just running vickers and brens.

Ideas

1.  Weapon flexibility - Commandos can whip up 2 brens on their squad through a switch button, regardless of their current equipped weapons (a cool idea that might be uncodable)
2.  Commandos can be equipped with boys at
3.  Commandos used alone get a major received accuracy bonus (-25%) sort of like a aura, if it's paired with other commandos they get no bonus or reduced (solo operations heroes)
4.  Commandos get a non supression reducing sprint ability on top of their smoke
5.  Commando gliders are cloaked after 10 seconds and can deploy a short duration high value healing
6.  Commando zeal (yes seriously)
7.  New stens that are highly accurate in smoke, gives them 2 free smoke grenades with a short supression effect but makes the squad unable to pick up AT weapons
8.  Base unit gets a sight bonus, a small 15hp increase and is reorganized into a 5 man squad
9.  larger splash on their grenade
10.  glider is soundless and cloaked , commandos receive a full inf speed moving timed cloak as they enter the field

I believe the commando pineapple has the steilhandgrenade range. with allied damage/splash.

Pq suggested increasing their cloak time from 5s?(not sure) to like 10 or 15s.

But it doesn't matter. many people  have asked for a long time now for commandos to be fixed and no one has done it. since PQ was balance lead if that gives u a idea and before that.

They are just god aweful fighting anything short of volks.
They are incredibly expensive.
Stens are a joke, honestly they make more noise then damage.
I think the sten upgrade shouod include 2 brens.
The piat should be 3-4 piats because lets face it the only thing they are used for currently is dropping in on repairing tanks.

They are the building blocks of the commando doctrine yet bren tommies shit over them.

If stens are really that bad as nikonmas suggested  we should consider lowering munies to 100-90 or something.

 
Could give them something for less received accuracy and better on the move accuracy for stens.

making a shit weapon cheaper does nothing to omprove mandos.
Mlt+bren tommies is still cheaper at 75mu and far more effective.

Stens need some decent modifiers vs maybe AB armor and Soldier armor.

Then and only then would they see some sort of viability

With current doctrines I'd prefer seeing them cheaper. Failschrims aren't 280 either. Down to 260 would be fine. 30 manpower more than british standard infantry.

Also 30 mun handgrenade would be suitable. 35 was okay price balance when smoke was available without vet 1.

Needs better doctrine so whoever wants to create one get out a pen and thinking cap and start being creative.
