I've noticed some of my squads in launcher are vet 1 but in game show up as vet 2. And they're far enough away from the vet 1/2 threshold that it's not the 6 xp they get from just showing up that makes them vet 2. It's always squads that should have lower vet according to launcher having more vet in game.
