Well then that's really dumb. As it stands, it's only real use it is to scare the Axis player into relocating their defenses, and providing smoke cover as you advance. If it doesn't even do that, then yeah, it's pretty weaksauce compared to everything else out there.
uses smoke fx doesn't give cover.
Honestly as a t1 is useful to dislodge support weapons prior to an advance.
