Sorry people,

yesterday I wanted to have a 3v3 with some peolple but I had to restart my computer. Then when I came back again they saw me leaving again.

And you know what? Yes, this time my PC crashed for good. And it cannot be repaired, so I have to wait for 2-3 weeks for my new Computer (if I'm lucky then it's 2-3 weeks!) till I can be back again.

Currently I am on my fathers laptop but of course CoH won't run on it.

Now I know this isn't really an EiR topic so the mods may delete it, but I just wanted to apologize to the 5 people that had to wait on me. I guess that my PC was just not fit for that much gaming after all.

Greets,

Tharulerme (see you all in 2-3 weeks with hopefully a heavy game PC on my side)

No, I couldn't connect to flamur so I had to restart my computer after a few other attempts to restore the connection with him.
Then I suddenly remembered that one of my programs could cause lag so I decided to uninstall it, and when I uninstalled it, it asked me to restart it again and when I did that it gave the legendary blue screen error, which can be just a small error or it will kill your PC. And you know how unlucky I always am - it killed my PC.

So basically, my PC suicided.

Well, I know more than just a few types of ways to fix the blue screen of death but if you know what the blue screen of death is then you know that there is a small chance that the error will not be able to get fixed, which is caused by a file that got messed up that bad that your whole PC kills itself (that's why it's called blue screen of death).

I've tried all ways that exist except buying new hardware - but I am not really doing that -> I am buying a new PC (might as well mention that it's a kick-ass game PC).

And don't start inventing a new way that can fix it even after it killed itself because I finally got my parents that far that I can buy it right away, otherwise I have to wait for 2 more weeks before I can buy it lol

Oh I see how it is  Wink  The PC is deeefinitely broken.  Simply must get a newer, more kickass PC.

But seriously, did you try reinstalling windows?  If the BSOD is from a corrupted file or a messed up master boot table, you can fix that with a reinstall of the OS.  Depending on the error code you are getting on the BSOD, there are a number of possible solutions to investigate.

However, if what you really want is a good excuse to get a new comp.  Then by all means, enjoy!

Well yes Kolath, and that doesn't work.

Well basically we can repair the PC with reinstalling Windows but almost all hardware has to be changed. We (my dad and I) are repairing it with the help of another computer (exchanging hardware with it) so we can do that but there is 99,9% that my old Hardware can't get repaired.

In other words, we repaired my PC in that way that it will work on new proper hardware, but the old hardware will probably be lost.

Now since it basically takes ages for me to reinstall all the drivers, patches, updates, programs, games, etc., I just get a new PC.

Now it's pretty sad that my harddrive will probably not be able to be restored because if it's really gone then I will lose like 8 maps for CoH were I was building on as a secret map project, and also many skins I was creating for a variety of games (which sucks because on 1 skin I've spent like 4 days only to adjust a really tiny part to another part of the skin and I managed to get a few other realistic skins all ready for submission but was just waiting).

And for all of you begging for my old hardware, as you've just read my father get's my old PC&Hardware, but I doubt that anyone could use it anyway because till now a part of it could turn out to be beyond repairs.

All that's left now is to check if my Harddrive can be restored and in the mean time ordering my new PC.

And then I am going to install CoH again to annoy you all. Smiley

Okay guys, this is my status right now.

My dad and I did managed to get my PC working, but my most important Harddisk died.

Well, as you knew we were repairing it with the help of another computer's hardware, we implanted those harddisks from the other computer as the main harddisks and we set my own harddisks as "slaves". This way we actually could get all information back.

However, we found out that the error was in my desktop directory, because I can't get any files from that. And sadly enough that's were I had all my maps located.

Well what does it mean, it means that till I get my new PC I am going to reinstall only CoH on here to keep playing this, for the rest my PC is an empty bag of... well you can guess.

Anyways, maybe I can play a game with you guys in an hour, or tomorrow, my PC ain't really dead yet.
