hey is it possible make warmap sectors be directly related to PPs and doctrines tiers unlocks? There is more than enough sectors in warmap to make it happen. Just not sure if its possible to do via coding/amount of coding time.

idea is like this.

Each time war starts, like we have now, all sectors are neutral. Captured 1 sector, got t1 unlock, captured 2nd, got tier 2 unlocks and so on. All tier4s should be in front line sectors and warmap should be split in 2 pieces for allied one and second for axis. So etc now its possible make 5 sectors for each side in front lines right? If you lost of those, ya losing 1 of tir4 doctrines and so on.

I like where you were attempting to go with this, but as you have presented it would be really, really bad.
Limiting resources is one thing; taking away a doctrine unlock is just too harsh.

Not to mention we want to promote the possibility of a back and forth. If people started losing doctrines coming back from the defensive would be significantly more difficult. Not to mention theres already a ton of fair weather players who jump around depending on who has the edge. Rather then what needs players

Hmm yeah me too.

I like the concept - but its too punishing, something like this sorted in some other way would be good (linking tiers or something) to the warmap.

It could be, that if your side conquers a sector, perhaps a big boost to the PP amount (or a small loss to the losers) might work.
The downfall is, that the winning side, would win MORE because of the gap in PPs, however if its done right, then the team on the back-foot could regain some PP amounts with some good teamwork.

People- keep spitballin' cos I like the posibilities (oh, and Im here to implement them btw too).

The biggest problem with a system like this is its going to punish us players who play based on what a game needs to start not on what we personally want to.

I know myself and about 5 others who would rather play outside of our comfort zone to get a game, then wait X amount of time for the perfect game based on our personal preference.

More sectors should just give more cards. Winning side has more "resources" because they own more territory so they get more cards than the enemy.
