Every time I try to start the auto updater, it crashes and says " EIRR auto updater has stopped working, windows looking for solution" so every time I start the launcher I can't play because it isn't updated. Can someone tell me how to fix this?!

Are you running Avast Antivirus?
If you have AVAST Antivirus open it, go to the real-time shields menu and disable the web shield before you start the EIRRLauncher.

It isnt the launcher, that works fine, but i cant run auto updater. Plus i dont have avast on my computer i have avg.

Probably something blocks the "checking files" process. Or maybe you have outdated software.

Try disabling AVG when you run it.
If that doesnt work, then check your .net and .xna redists - they may not have installed properly

It isn't avg so i'm going to have to guess it is one of the redists. But the problem is I don't know how to check if one of them isn't working.

I will try to hang on, but I really wish this wouldn't have happened. I love coh and I'm on a "mission" to try all the cool mods before I get coh2. This isn't the only mod I've had problems with. Eastern Front and Europe at war gave me some problems, but I fixed EAW. Eastern Front is still ticking me off. I just really wish I could join the front in EIR.

The golden question is Does it crash on boot or does it start checking/downloading files?
Also are what OS are you using?

Sorry I went to play coh and the auto updater crashes on boot, it doesnt even get a chance to start. ps im gonna be gone for a phew hours so please post any suggestions you have while im gone. I will read them when I get back.
