Dear god I just played through about half the campaign and it just keeps getting better! I really love the free-style, non linear approach that makes the game so much more different than most drab smash-against-the-frontlines fps games like Call of Duty 4. It's the most fun I've had playing single player in an FPS since I've played HL2. Seriously, on normal it is a challenge enough. Each objective can be tackled differently. For example, given the order to reach an evac point, I could've simply gone on foot and tried to stealth to avoid contact and move in the shadows of the dark jungle, or I could've killed a pair of North Koreans standing by a pickup truck, jacked the truck, and gunned it down the main roads of the Island to get there in less than half the time. Each approach has its merits and its dangers, so it's always a very difficult decision. Plus when you're attacking compounds you need to use your brain. You may be gifted with a rambo suit, but you sure can die easily, so it takes a strategic approach of typically sneaking in undetected, or creating a distraction via grenade or killing a guard then using that to sneak into the inner compound. Typically you can't rambo, so the gameplay style requires you to pay attention to what you're doing. That aside, the game's graphics have left me in awe. They are the best in ANY fps I have played, and I get virtually NO lag.

GET IT. It's SO worth the money, especially if you have DX10.

I'm trying, I'm trying. But my graphics card can barely run COH, let alone Crysis.

Ah, when you upgrade, reinstall it. You'll love it.

Yah Crysis is awsome. People told me to get Cod 4 but I got crysis and I am not regretting it. Like skunker said you can tackle any objective differently.

Well the multiplayer didn't grab me for crysis, but I definitely LOVE the single player experience.

The multiplayer isn't the best but the greatness is in the singleplayer. Multiplayer needs more game modes and needs a co op option. I hear they are making some mods for Crysis.

You have to run CoH on lower settings but you try running Crysis on high? Haha.
Besides, 500€ can't get you a kickass pc.

Besides great visuals, I find the game lacks in content (gameplay)...really its nothing new, just a shooter with kick ass graphics and physics.

You tried and you failed because running on high with 14 - 26 FPS really is nothing to brag about Wink.
Ah well, I guess some people like living in the illusion that they're "running a kickass game on high settings" (even though they in fact can't run the game on those settings and just ignore the horrible FPs drops & slideshow occuring)
