I was bored, so I started work on some random idea, and it's turning out pretty nicely. It's still very rough, and there's a lot of work to do regarding design, as you can see the town is closer to one side, so sectoring will have to make part of the forest just as vital as the town.

Edit: Name changed, screenshots of the sectors added

Your snowfall looks epic.  Almost like driving sleet v. Texas' gentle snow flurry.

your snow is brown  Shocked
You need to desaturate the colors to make it look more natural/white, take a look on the athmosphere settings on my St.Vith map.

It's the color of his sun.  He should change it to like light gray or something.

The snow on the ground are sand texture, the falling snow are rain changed. i dont think you can find a tutorial, but open a snowy map in WB, and have a look at the athmosphere settings, that will give you an idea of how its done  Wink

I fixed my snow. Turns out there's a setting called desaturation (desaturates colors like in Photoshop). On the bright side it makes your snow look quite white, on the other side it makes your units look quite dull and discolored as well - I used about a middle setting, just enough to keep color on my troops and keep the ground white.

Since we don't have winter camouflage on our troops like BotB mod it's for the best that you desaturate the camouflage a little too Smiley.

Skuuunker.
I want you to make a "Europe in Ruins" screenshot, something that really describes the mod's name for our menu background contest coming soon.
You should get an NIS scenario (or multiple) set-up on a fitting map, take screenshots and enhance them. GOGOGO! Smiley.

It's a contest though, Akrandas will be organising it, so no guarantee it'll be used but you should definately enter!

I will, but I need to find a map and make a suitable background for the shot, and an NIS.

Well the beta's up for anyone who is nuts enough. I have a feeling it won't be too bad, but all feedback would be welcome and appreciated.
