Try to retreat units before they die. They gain veterancy that way, too.

IMO the only units that should really be hit hard by availiability are the "elite" units of each side. Now, Im not saying that it needs to go away because on the flip side of that if you know that you are going to get a resupply of units after the match then you dont care if you lose them all...I think it needs to be looked at a bit, not taken out, and some things need to be excluded (Rifles and Volks I think shouldnt have any availibility restrictions)

the main problem is starting late in the war you lose many men trying to take on vetren units. I think maybe an availability increase to armies with less than X vetrency per company is instore!

There is no problem unless you are not diciplined with your retreat button. Even going up against vet units... there is not excuse for letting your men die. Period.
After a few matches you will catch up and "be able to compete with vet units" which I think is a load of garbage in the first place. Vet is great, but it doesn't fix stupid.

It's generally a good idea to retreat when your squad has a low health percentage left, or has less than half of it's normal squad members left.

Step out of the way. He'll keep going until he hits a wall, that being Akranadas. Let him go unmolested, his journey will take less time.

Or you could not retreat your men and win fights when the vet squads wimp out at 50% hp. He he he... that's why I love terror.
