Battle 1023
Lots of back and forth fighting, great tank action.
Action packed till the end!
Some high end players on both sides, balanced teams

You can avoid them, retreat, counter them, kill them, or at least be comforted that they are risking something too. Losing units to offmap is shitty.

This was a hard fought game, was not my best played game by anymeans (kids jumping on me makes it hard to really focus
).
Duck beat the shit out of me in the middle of the map (town) and at the chateau when I moved over there with his strafing and bombing runs (2 Vet 3 grens, pak, Nebel, etc..all by the damn runs). Personally I would hope that the Air Superiority change gets looked at because it was devistating to us. If 2 Allied players go Air Born with the chage its almost auto win because of how much firepower can be rained down upon their enemies.
Well fought game though, its been a while since I felt that way (heart pounding, wondering what was coming next).

While I don't disagree with your comment about looking at Air Superiority, I would remind you that the same can be said about multiple Axis players having Firestorm and V1. The cumulative effect of such lethal offmap starts to take away from the actual game being played.
As is, the obvious solution is to refuse to enter a game where multiple players have powerful offmap abilities if you intend to keep your units alive.

Scrap, Saint and I both have V1's and used all 4 of them in this game (including dropping 2 of them at the same time to increase its lethality (if thats a word) in a "spread". Their firepower came nowhere close to that of what Duck unleashed on us, more specifically me since I was the one trying to hold on in the middle of the map, I was repeatedly wiped out by the runs.

Ask Apex or Saint about how pissed off I was about this, and then came the bombing run on Apex's Panther. Everytime I would actually gain some ground and get an offensive going...poof half my stuff gone from a strafing run. I know it wasnt but it seemed like every 5 min I was getting hit with bombing or strafing runs.

Yeah, really I agree with you, but I suppose I am trying to be fair in applying my bias against all offmap arty, wchi frankly they are all quite lethal at times, and inffective at others. They can all be hit or miss, all or nothing, but perhaps what makes the Air Superiority seem OP is the number of rolls of the dice that they get compared to other offmaps. For that matter Stukas, Howies, and Calliopes fall under this same complaint to some extent. Anything capable of one-shotting a squad I take some issue with.
But make no mistake I am not asking for more shots for the other offmaps, I am asking for less on Air Superiority. Or a game mechanic change to its effectiveness, which may neither be desireable nor possible.

I think it should be less shots, If you watch the replay I think you, if not everyone would agree. If you get 2 or more AB players with this T4...game over.
Again I didnt play the best in this game, I even blobbed towards the middle-end game, but really the offmaps hurt my strategy.

Maybe we could get a rematch sometime this week (Thurs/Fri/Sat)? Cant be Thursday night for me though, taking the wife to see Billy Joel (one of her favorite musicians) she damn well better like it too for the price I paid per ticket.

Well, Apex's Panther got such high vet in the first place from blitz+conviction. That changes the course of a fight by a lot. Other people get direct damage offmaps instead.

The Panther was vet2 before I had Blitzkrieg, and vet3 before I had conviction.

just watched the replay, haha fun game... The panther got pretty fucked. It could maybe have escaped from just the airborne or just the m10, but both of them pretty much doomed it. And from replay-perspective that was game. The allies had been strafing and bombing the axis shrekkers all game and the axis just never had sufficient AT on field after that. There was a long segment in the center field where 2 shermans and a 57 pretty much beat the crap out of wave after wave of axis infantry while the 2 PIVs were almost helpless.

Yea those were my shreks being strafed and bombed the entire game, and your right we couldnt get in the middle with the P4's with the shermans sitting there and the 57 backing them up.
