I'm dutch, it's not the same .
I can understand German pretty well, speaking goes a little less fluent .
(But I do have a decent vocabulary knowledge)

I vote no for a couple reasons.

1) Our community is pretty small and having language-specific channels/forums would divide us and promote segregation (especially if we then have other languages as well).

2) As far as I know, none of the devs speak German, which would mean that they would be unable to follow the discussion in the German forums and would need someone to go around translating balance discussion.

3) Translation of the launcher and website would take a great deal of additional work away from 2.0

Now, that said, I see no problem with Germans or any other language group playing together and speaking in their native tongue.  Just keep it ad-hoc rather than codified.

Gentlemen, have you lost sight of the problem? It is a LANGUAGE barrier. Germans would only be able to organize games with other Germans, and I doubt they all get on at the same time. The problem does not lie with the Germans, it lies with us. We don't know shit about their language.

 I suggest that we post a forum post with some basic words translated out to us to make it easier to communicate. And other languages. And then sticky it in General discussion. If you guys want, I can do one in Spanish to kick it off, as I am fluent in the language.

A new vent is not worth 10 people. However, With a little bit of bilingual cooperation, we can make this work. Ja?

Of course, this would have to be MAJOR languages. a.k.a. French, Spanish, German, etc.

im not american, and im not about to try to learn every language to organize a game, there are more then germans playing.

They can join a game in the launcher, hit ready and find the game room as easy as anyone else.  I don't NEED to be able to talk to them.  Actually the way the game is now,  Idon't even need to be in vent anymore to play.  If i had a friend and we were sitting in my private vent I could play a game just as easily as if I was in this vent.

it will only get easier and easier, and vent will become more and more less needed, it is what built this community up, but it will come to a time when it won't be feasable anymore, if/when this mod REALLY takes off.
