Alright, since people are getting the wrong idea, I'll reword it for you:

I do not like the new patch.
The developers are working very hard for 2.0, and are not ready for this war to end.
I do not think buffing the axis side is the best alternative.

I am looking for opinions to other people feel about the patch, not about this post.

I was angry, because I couldn't resupply, I was using a 2 month-old, messed-up green company, and I was trying to help a new player who had little enthusiasm for EIR. I will be playing.

The entire intent of this post was to incite a different alternative. I don't mind if we continue the war, and I've not encouraged it to end sooner.

Angry posts incite angry replies, and I could see where that was going.

However, I'm not apologizing for what I said, with the exception of the developers, because I feel that the Allied players now have an unfair disadvantage, and I'm not going to withdraw my support for them.

Please Note:This post is not about how rare a unit is, nor how often it saw battle. I'm talking about the prestige of the unit. If KCH were 200 MP, they would not hold the influence that they currently do. Heavy armour is not meant to be spammed. Who cares if they only made X amount of them, it doesn't matter. Dozens of them are, have been, and will be for the next 2 or so years, fighting battles in Company of Heroes, Faces of War, and other WWII Games.

And for those who are interested, here is the original post:

"This is a poll, statement, and protest.

I do not accept the current situation on Europe in Ruins. I am disappointed that the developers would give the Axis players this much of a boost. Patches are made to create balance, or react to a seemingly unbalanced situation. Am I in agreement with most people?

Then, therefore, I am assuming that the patch was created to react to the situation of the Axis constantly loosing territory. If I am correct, and the patch was not created, the Axis would have probably lost this War some time this week, probably by the end of the weekend.

I must ask you folks; Who cares if the Axis loose the war? What's the big deal? It only takes about 2 or three weeks of battles to fill up your Doctrine abilities anyways. I, for instance, have 38 CPs that I cannot use. Yes, you loose veterancy, your leaderboard units, your RBs, etc. Big deal. This war is only a month old anyways. While that can be annoying, is it really worth frustrating the living hell out of [especially new] Allied players? What about those that won't stay with Europe in Ruins because it is too frustrating to learn, or to play as a certain faction?

I'm going to take just one of the Axis's new buffs: The King Tiger
Let me remind you folks that a KT is a rare tank. When I mean rare, I don't mean that I should see two of them on the field at the same time, commanded by the same person. They should not be anywhere near the same price of anything but a Jagdpanther, A39 tank destroyer, or ISU-152. Heavy Armour is like facebook; used with responsibility, not by spamming units (or application invites) that other people have to deal with.

If the Allies win the war, so be it. Just have a new one. For all I care, give 'em 50 more of our territories if it means that much to them. Don't make it so new people give up trying, and Allied allied players loose next to all of their units (most of them vetted).

On a side note, I can't make videos if the content is uneventful defeat. I also lost all the great replays I had before because of the patch (which causes replays to play incorrect content). If there had been some sort of warning, I would have appreciated that, so I could get the video completed beforehand.

As for me, I am not going to play any more Europe in Ruins games until the settings are revived to before. I'll watch forum posts, I might come onto vent to have a chat, but other than that, I'm done.

m-26 pershings were even more rare...i should never see one company ever call in 2 let alone 1 show up in a 2v2 in 50% of the games...

M26 Pershing more rare then KT? I don't think that is entirely accurate. But lets not derail this.

My entire Infantry company was more or less obliterated by this patch, and I would like a roll back to the previous patch. Can someone get all of the Allied nerfs/buffs, and compare them to the Axis nerfs/buffs?

The M26 enjoyed a good combat record. It was introduced in limited numbers (200 tanks) in January 1945.

In fact, George Patton was not involved in the decision to produce 250 T26s.

Wikipedia is often wrong my friend, but lets not derail the thread, lets see some allied love, or atleast less hate...

Now count how many made it into combat units before the war ended. They saw more service in Korea.

But you had stated the number of KTs produced, so I stated the number of Pershings produced.

Stuart, you are an asshole for even posting this.

I'm tired of trying to explain why, when saying you are an asshole pretty much gets the point across.

Much much better Stuart, the redo was tactful.

Enjoy your vacation.

It is a pretty pointless post. Who the hell cares about a poll.  Its not like we can vote on this shit.  Deal with it.  No need to make yourself look stupid and ungrateful.

It is my second day here, so maybe i do not count for much, but bare with me.

Anyhow, i have downloaded some replays of earlier battles, and too me it seemed like the Airborne was overpowered. To easy to get veterancy with them and so fort. THe rangers were even worse in my opinion, nothing could stand up to them. While i believe that resetting the stats is the wrong way to go, i think that positive criticism of the devs will be more likely included later, rather than raw abuse and rage.

As for the Axis, they got some buffing, however that was buffing needed!

Airborne should of been adjusted int he patch, yet it seems like almost everything but airborne were nerffed. I mean BAR increase wtf...Ranger increase has broken my entire company, I might just resign and become armor or just wait till 2.0. There needs to be something done, because I'm not playing until there is a patch to adjust things. It isn't that I think allies are underpowered, but my company is broken, and Axis are wayyyy to strong atm.

Same thing, same hysteria-driven overreaction.

And Stuart, isn't it better to be calm and not panic?  Just play, and have fun, if there are in fact real issues, you know it won't be long until Ucross fixes it.  Has he let us down yet?  Sure he's made changes, but when something is wrong, he makes it right.
