News from the front:
Terrible News! Our advance has been destroyed and the Allies are counter-attacking! Our 120th Blitzkrieg (HighVelocity) and 68th Defensive (KdKIIIFitte) divisions successfully assaulted and defeated the 107th Armour (CaptWildstar) and 532nd Infantry (sfmadmax) divisions in a contained battle. Our soldiers morale is high and the Allies continue to break under assault! Even though this is good news, the allies still hold most of Europe and we must keep pressing if we intend to see that change. This was the beginning of a large Allied counter-attack! We must defend the land we have captured against the new Allied Assault!
Err... Our guys won the battle, but they are counterattacking?!

Yep there's something wrong, it seems the axis gain more territorys faster than the allies even if they're defending or attacking.
edit: Or we just suck, wich i doubt.

Four 3v3 Axis wins in a row caused the switch. There was an Allied win just before, and just after this 4 in a row by the Axis, but that's too little, too late.
