I was playing a game earlies with 3 player (names are to be left out) and there stratagey was once the arty timer ran out to mass strom troopers with schrecks and knights crossholders and rush the attcking players spawn point.  This made the game extremly unfair because once they were able to destroy the uint on the field they could easily massacer any fo the reineforcement platoons beacsue tof there samll size and even armor coulnd help because of the shrecks.  I personaly feel that the spawn point should be protect by atomatic arty so that ppl cant sit at spawn point and destroy the small platoons that people are forced to call out.

Well you got spawn protecftion fr some time (you take no dmg).

This is indeed a issue and many axis tryed to pull that one off on me. If you dont have heavy impact units (Tank´s, offmap, elite units) your basicly stuck where are.

I rarely play aggressively enough to do this, but I have found it works amazingly if you get them just as their buff lifts, no one expects it... and you can litterly destroy an attack before it starts.

If your referring to the game I was in, it was not camping, we just pushed allies all the way to the spawn. What are we ment to retreat if were to close to your spawn even though you have no other territory? come on.

If they pushed you all the way back to your spawn, then that's your problem.

However, if they just sat storm shreks outside of your spawn...what if the spawn LOS radius also detects camouflage as well as visible units? Though sitting a sniper inside of the enemy's spawn does have its tactical advantages...

I'm undecided about the issue.

Spawncamping? It's called a Tactic to thwart an Advance. It may not be 100% Realistic. And it may not be fair.

But guess what, War *isn't* fair.

But he said plain and simple that they got pushed back so in that case im all for it. I know it is frustrating to be biting the dust to such a degree, but i do feel it is the way it should be. You got pushed back and can't recover? Well, surrender then.

Its god dam stupid is what it is. The game the PPLA and I where in had spawn campin at the very start, they didnt push us back. They set up HMgs Tanks KCH, Storms and 44's out side our spawns.   I personally play this game for the tactical game play, and when I see apanthers and storms with 44's and shrecks siting at my spawn It takes everything out of the game.

Just as it did for me when i was up against a Infantry and a Airborne player on crossroads. They dug in all their units at the end of the village, and made obstacles on the sides. We were fucked. They had their Airborne RR rushing into our spawn to take out our tanks and ranger + AT-guns + mortars + HMGs defending the city. It is equally gay anyways, and no we did not get pushed either. If it happens to both sides there are no reason to get biased.

I have figured out later what i was missing. I needed a nebelwerfer to break "the siege". Yes it was gay, but it was realistic, in the sense that sometimes the preperation for an a attack is longer than other times. Consider it "assaulting a prepared defensive position".

They werent just sitting defending, my teammate was comletly surrounded, on every side they had units just around the spawn. And as soon as a unit was called on they would rush it

Well that never happened to me and i agree, that should not happen! But having heavily defended position in say the village on crossroads is ok.

I assume they waited on the spawn buff to wear out first..? Wink

Someone did that to me once too.  Then I walked my spawn buffed engineers up to their KCH and Storm squads and wiped them out.

The spawn buff is immunity.  Use it to your advantage. Wink

Yes, I think people generally are like 'oh shit, they're at my spawn, I better retreat off-map since I don't stand a chance' Smiley. I don't even come near someone's spawn because I don't want to get my ass kicked by invulnerable units Wink.
