So true! Well i have adjusted my settings to the max for dx9, i dont even bother going dx10. Only the gameplay counts for me not the look´s, thats why i still enjoy c&c for example.

PFFT. Who cares about a Frame rate over 30FPS? You can't see any difference between 30 and 150 because the eye refreshes at 30 FPS

Vista is the suck0r i have 2 pcs with it around - just reduces your pc speed with bad design & codeing. Linux ftw.

Actually from what I understand its not so much the eye, as the brain and it varies from person to person and cannot be expressed in frames Of course, most of you have LCD's which don't refresh that fast anyway.

In 2000 that was a issue, but we are further now. 0,02 ms does the trick for me.

Response time is not the same as refresh rate.

refresh around 75hz works for me, and a normal person can only see about 30fps.

Yup, you start seeing really fluidly at about 30 FPS. And this has nothing to do with the brain, either; it's simply that the cells in our eyes cannot be "excited" by light for less then about a 30th of a second, which means that any more frames then that and there is overlap, which means you don't see any more fluidly.

That doesn't sound likely to me, so unless you're like an ophthalmologist, I'm going to not trust you =)
