1. rifleman, airborne, ranger are 6 men squad, grenadiers are 4, volks are 5, storms are 5, thus allies sniper does more damage

2. allies infantry weapon hit sniper more often, because larger squad size, fast cooldown, and BAR, which is accurate automatic weapon, which can also fire on the move, compare to axis, K98 fires slow, mp44 cant hit at medium to long range, lmg cant fire on move. this makes allies sniper more survive-able than axis sniper. all weapon have 5% chance to kill sniper when sniper is at 50% health, fast cooldown on rifle, and BAR really kills sniper by critical hit

3. jeep has more hp than bike

4. axis sniper can miss, allies sniper can dodge
all allies infantry vet gives 0.8 received accuracy, this makes originally 1 accuracy on sniper misses their shot

5. allies infantry gets offensive vet, which help kills sniper faster
axis infantry gets defensive vet, which helps allies sniper to kill them(3x accuracy vs elite armour, 1.15 damage)

6. allies elite troops can fireup, ignore mg to find and kill axis sniper

7. if allies sniper and axis sniper standing very close, and moving closer, axis sniper will get decloaked first by allies sniper

8. allies sniper vet1 is better, 1.2 sight range, 0.8 invincibility, compared to 0.0022 health regen
(axis sniper vet 2 is slightly better)

9.  allies sniper vet3 is better, 1.15 range, 1.5damage(kill kch easier), cloaked speed +1(omg)

10. axis sniper vet3 sucked, 0.6 cooldown, sure you fire faster, but you will never be cloaked

11. axis sniper have 0.75 accuracy penalty against moving airborne, allies sniper have no penalty vs all unit

12. allies light vehicle decloaks axis sniper

13. axis vehicle unless touches allies sniper will not decloak him

 /shrug this game does not have identical sides, axis mg/mortar/AT gun are all superior to allied equivelants.

I'd rather have an axis sniper at vet 3, less reload time and health regen.
Especially the health regen is incredibly useful.

No it doesn't, trust me I had a vet 3 allied sniper. You'll still get damaged by something left & right, even if it's just a little, without the regen you're screwed in the long run. The axis sniper overall is also cheaper so I don't see a need for this thread.

hell, double tap was way better, 1 shot 4 second means u got no cloak

Every vehicle ingame got a 3 meter stealth detection radius since the patch.

its still the same, a quad decloaked my sniper on otherside of the building, my flamenwerfer ran into an allies sniper, and the sniper icon flashed on my screen, and immediatly off

The allies sniper already costs more...and still takes a good bit of skill to use effectively.

Yes.

A more urgent problem is:
MG 42 & .30 Cal cost the same amount, this is a big mistake in terms of balance. Wether you like it or not, the mg42 is superior in an EiR environment in which suppression is king. Faster suppression is much more powerful than dealing slightly more damage.

In addition, does the cost difference between the PAK & 57 justify the performance difference enough?
I think not, the PAK needs a further price increase. There's a reason why a lot of people go armour and onboard mechanics, without field repair & on-board mechanics you basically can't compete with the large amounts of shrecks & PAKs as an armour-centric player.
