How about adding a txt file to the installer, popping up after the installation, telling them it would be whise to get ventrilo and the server information.

Amount of ppl playing without vent is growing, and thats just one more reason for some players to avoid those people. (like look whos in that game in the launcher, hm only 1 of em in vent too, ill pm one of the ppl i know to start a "real" game)  Undecided


maybe even add a little "get into the mod" tutorial into that txt too. had a talk with a new, german speakin player today who was pretty emotional about being raped to bits by "older guys"

I am in the process to writing a tutorial style mission that will also let players test out their company compositions.

BUT, the ranking system 2.0 will employ should help our noob raping problem, they will be able to tell how much that player has played and how good they are compared to them selves at a glance and therefore will not be so easily coerced into unfair match ups.
