I was Defensive in the last war and relatively new (Joined up just a week before the surge of new people I think). In this war I wanted to try Blitz and was wondering if it is worth it to get a Tiger over a Panther?
Edit: Because I was thinking of getting Battle Hardened instead of Assualt Tanks.

Tigers are slower, but last longer.

It usually comes down to personal preference, especially with the new Panther range. The Tiger has definite advantages against Pershings, infantry, and weapons teams, but the Panther is the undisputed champ vs Shermans and m10s. The Panther is better at hit and run, the Tiger is better at overrun. The Tiger requires more forethought and careful micro owing to its slow turret.
Generally speaking, I think Panthers are better for people who play cautiously and Tigers are better for aggressive gameplay.
What T4 are you looking at?

And it needs A LOT of infantry backing it, at least 3 squads.

lol I was going to ask about that too. If it does, I guess your stuff moves as fast as Speedy Gonzolos(sp) and Probably won't need to stop to cap stuff since you have Territorial Blitz.

Lightning War is kind of a wash. The Panthers get omegakiting, the Tigers get to grind things into paste. It's pretty much down to personal preference for you at this point. Although Tiger turret speed doesn't go up, you can fix that by moving fast and bringing your turret to bear that way I would recommend filling out the rest of your abilities first, then grabbing Assault Tanks. See how you like it, and if you don't swap it out for Battle Hardened.

STOP STOP STOP.
do what im doing, buy 2 panthers, play with them every game, keep getting cps, unlock tiger, delete the lower vet panther. BY this stage you got 1 vet 2 panther, or 3, and a tiger. can it get any better?

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.
More changes to come.

Tiger because it's a doctrine ability which means the developers purposely made it cheaper than what it would have been if it didn't take a CP ability. It's like getting a scholarship and not using it.

So the overall conceus is the Tiger? Well I don't really NEED Assault Tanks since I'm not getting HEAT Rounds for my T4, I'm planning to swap it for Battle Hardened if I don't really like the Tiger.

Panther, since allied tanks now get 25% speed at vet 1. Before I'd say tiger. You need more anti-infantry in your company though if you're going panther than with a tiger.

My personal opinion is the tiger. It's like a bigger stronger panther, with shorter range, a slower turrent, but munches on infantry. I'm the opposite of Apex, to me it's not even a choice. Tiger is win.

With the new +25% speed at vet 1 on all allied tanks, the Tiger can be circled by a Pershing. I would choose a Panther backed up with plenty of infantry.

I like it when the Tiger commander (or is it Panther) says "Grind them into paste". With extra enthusiasm on the 'paste'...

I would take a tiger, combining the AT capabilities of a Panther with the AI of... well, a Tiger... It makes for a superior tank, though I would be interested to see who would win in a duel... tiger or panther...
