Panther is better since more allied players will try to take out the Tiger first.

I think the tiger wwould soundly win any 1v1 duel against a panther.

Poor Tiger is soundly outclassed by allied tanks in speed, its turret can't track. So if you want to kill tanks get a Panther. If you want to kill a Pershing or infantry get a tiger....or a couple PAKs and an HMG.

The Tiger gets a speed bonus, yes but however the TURRET speed doesn't get any faster through I guess you can back up at a slightly faster speed to prevent circle-strafing.

Sorry to bring up this thread again, but with the new Vet bonuses, it seems that the Tiger is looking better by the day compared to the Panther. With a slightly faster Turrent speed (w/ Vet) and a 25% Speed bonus (w/ Lightning War). The only advantage it seems for the Panther now is that it is still faster with Speed and still has longer range. Other then that it doesn't seem to have going for it since a Tiger gun can also signifigantly better against infantry compared to a Panther.

well, that turret rotation is compensated for by improved other vets on the panther.  Skirts are AWESOME.

I have seen RRs bounce off the Frontal Armor of the Panther.

rr have 25% chance to deflect on panther's front armour by default, with AT eagles, its pretty much minimal

RR have 81.47% chance to deflect on tiger's front armour by default, with AT eagles, its still high chance to bounce
