new player saying hello

hello all my names gazzthompson,

ive just started playing this mod, and it looks great !! great work on the mod DEv's. ive read through all the guides and want to say thanks to any one who took the time to write them. it made starting up and ingame ALOT easier. ive only played one game and lost, but i wasn't expecting to win just to gain some experience and vet for some units. and would like to say hello as id be hopefully playing with and against you guys in future !!

see ya on the battlefield.

PS: what decides what team is on the offensive ?

at start of the war i think it is random. But when a faction make a certain number of defended territory or victory streak they broke the offensive and counter-attack. You can see the status in the Eir menu.
