I have the feeling that it was better to see the the percentages. You still had the ability to balance out games when stacked. With no names and no percentages you just stumble into games blindly. Ants only prevents the most extreme unbalanced teams, but since the no percentage change I found myself in many unbalanced games with no possibility to balance teams out.

I disagree, two times you refuse a game against me and duvka when you and some random person team up...even though your team's average % is likely still higher than ours. You refused to play with libertine against us when he's in fact a pretty capable player. Heck, he probably has more vet than me and duvka together. You're the number 1 leaderboard axis, you have a T4 (unlike me and Duvka) and tons of vet.

Here's Apex' ideal game

Lol you moron this is how the teams were

Apex 73%          -   Duvka 76%

Xaar 0% (33%)   -   Unknown 83%

Ants didnt even prevent it, and it would have been xaars first game ever, so dont talk crap.

Do you have a crystal ball or something? Wink
ANTs said GO so we play the game, simple as that.

In addition, the second time you teamed up with libertine, he probably has a good win %... you refused to play AGAIN.

The ANTS margin is way to big to have hidden teams.  Theres no way a game like that one should be playable.

Why are you so ignorant? Cant you see that these teams were stacked as hell?
We could have easily balanced the game out with the exisiting players if we would have seen the percentages.

I even asked whether you are in the game and you LIED that you are not.

He would've not played it regardless of who his teammate was, that's why I'm mainly referring to the second game he refused... unless his teammate would be extremely good... just so his team has the slight edge. (Which it would already have with T4s & vet 3s)

You are being quite idiotic on this one. Bitching about players who dont want to play when the teams are stacked in your favour, and refuse to play yourself when the teams are balanced.

You and libertine vs me and duvka wasn't stacked, don't bullshit me.
In addition, you and a fresh guy against me and duvka would've been a little off, no doubt, blame the system however, not me and duvka. But when people start abanding every game because of reason X or reason Y, we're going to end up with a very shitty EiR player mentality. And that's the point I'm trying to make.

IMO, all this hidden system has done is bring on more problems than it has solved.  Atleast before you didnt have to worry about whether or not the other team would actually play because they chose to play you.  Now its a wild guess who your playing because you dont even see their %.

Of course the systems broken, did I talk about you guys in my post? Did I draw stupid pictures attacking you guys?
Even with Libertine the team percentages would have still been 61%/ 80%, still stacked.

It would help the EiR player mentality when not lying when asked whether you are in a game or not.

I'd rather have no Hiddens/ANTS than a crappy ANTS based on win %.
Should be kept out untill the rating system comes in imho.

I call BS.

The point of a hidden system is that you don't know who you're facing untill you start, else you'll actively start avoiding us anyway.

Then you're wrong. Whatever.

I think so far seeing only percentages of your opponents was the best solution

But arent you just wasting your own time if you lie?  In the end you still dont get to play, but now you have to abandon and create a new game.

I like what the ANTS system itself does, and I liked it when we could see the %.  I still think the margin of 30% is too high, it needs to be around 20% to really work as intended.  Sure it will be harder to get games but the games you do get will be fair and balanced.  I would rather have 1 really good game instead of 5 crappy noobbashing games.

The hidden system however just causes issues like these and wastes everyones time.

Not if you follow the policy of NOT abandoning games once they get started.
I'll agree games where ANTS fucks up are an exception, but the game with libertine was going to be fair.

Ive said it before Ill say it again.  People play the game for fun, if they join a game and it looks to them like it might not be fun.  They will leave, regardless of policy, regardless of penalties.

All this hidden system manages to accomplish is waste peoples time.
