Can someone explain to me what these do please? It doesn't have a description of what they are so I want to know. What would be a good T4 for blitzkrieg, any suggestions?

What do you mean it has no description?
When chosing your doctrine abilities hovering over them should explain to you what they do.

For blitzkrieg it just says "blitzkrieg ability available 2 uses." assault says " assault ability available for purchase." And conviction "doubles the uses and duration of blitzkrieg ability, as well as removes the accuracy penalty." It doesn't say what they do though, so I would like to know the effects of blitzkrieg and what I am purchasing assault for.

They are both vanilla company of heroes abilities.

Assault is an ability you can purchase on your infantry squads. You click the ability and then a target. The squad will become immune to supression, move to cover somewhere close to the target, and throw grenades at it until its dead, the building is ungarrisoned, or the assault timer runs out. THe number of grenades thrown depends on the size of the squad.

Blitzkrieg appears in your ability-bar.  When clicked, all tanks move faster, gain Heavy Crush (can run over hedgerows and tank traps), fire twice as fast, and suffer a substantial accuracy penalty. All infantry also run faster and are immune to supression.  It lasts 30 seconds I think, but I'm not positive.

Conviction removes the accuracy penalty from Blitzkrieg and gives you 4 uses instead of 2.

and makes it last 60 seconds instead of 30.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

Assault sounds pretty good, not sure I would care too much about blitzkrieg or conviction. It's gonna take me a while to figure out what T4 I want. Sad

Blitzreig is good.

For Tanks:
Weapon Cooldown 0.5 50% Reduction
Maximum Speed 1.5 50% Bonus
Weapon Reload 0.75 25% Reduction
Weapon Accuracy 0.75 25% Penalty
Heavy Crush Enabled Enable Heavy Crush

For Infantry:
Maximun Speed +1 From 3 to 4
Received Suppression 0.5 50% Reduction
Weapon Cooldown 0.75 25% Reduction

Nothing beats seeing an engine damaged soon-to-be-doomed tiger or panther outrun those pesky AT infantry.

a slight buff is in order, say 30% damage and 20% penetration.

It used to be something like that, they nerfed it.
