Something is weird though, whenever the axis keep loosing people still play, but when the allies start too loose they all stop playing...

I won't blame you because you're new, but that is blatantly wrong and hypocritical.  When the new attack/defend mechanic started up, many axis players vocally refused to play because they were defending and losing, some even going so far as to cheat to try and turn the momentum.

Or maybe you've forgotten just a couple weeks ago, where many axis players flat-out refused to play anyone who used a calliope.

Please, don't make blanket statements about past events when you have a very limited view of the picture.  It's no different on either side.

Especially since it's harder to notice the axis players that refuse to play because they still have a larger pool of players to choose from.

Where can I find these stats about how many new players are on each side?

War Control Panel.

says something like:

Allies:: 538 Territories [493 Commanders]
Axis:: 462 Territories [504 Commanders]

But nothing about how many of those players are new or how many of them are the same player ([Both])?

Shreck spam is far more common, cheaper, more effective and non-doctrine specific.
Anyway, this isn't about balance, let's stop derailing.

Axis simply have a larger pool of active players with a lot of the newer players joining axis, you don't need statistics to back this up, you'll notice it daily when you sit around on vent and try to get a game.

I tried playing several games yesterday that turned out to be against all new Allies, and I saw about the same number of new Axis.

The answer to wghere the Allies have all gone is simple.

Were sat in foxholes freezing to death waiting to be attacked.

With the big changes to some of the more popular doctrine choices I think a lot of allied players have lost some of their motivation considering what they had aimed for and built had been altered so much. Maybe a CP refund would help.
