First, like to introduce myself.  Hi.

Now that's out of the way, I'd like to share a few things that I've noticed in my short time playing.

First off, it's awesome.  The fighting can be intense, and it's nice to not have to worry about your base and building production crap.  EiR gives you the opportunity to devote all your in-game time to the tactical side of things.

Now for the criticism.

Getting into a game can take the better part of an hour, if not longer.  In my eyes, this is the one thing that truly sucks.  Sometimes, after waiting for 30+ minutes, all the slots will fill up on your game, but then you find out that the guy who's been in the room the longest is AFK.  Unfortunately, I don't have all day to sit and wait for a game, and I'm betting most of you don't, either.   Perhaps an idle timer built in to the launcher would take care of that stuff?

Second, the whole "unfair" thing really keeps a lot of games from happening.  Yes, I understand the desire to have relatively evenly matched game, but isn't this war?  Perhaps give some sort of incentive for a lower-ranked player to take on a higher-ranked one, even if the outcome is likely pre-determined?

think that's it for now.  Gonna try and get one more game before bed...

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

The devs know of these issues, and unfortunately the best solution is a development in the version which will use a rating system.  However, it takes time to get this out.
