Anthony, you are completely misrepresenting the way the "head of the community" dictates and follows its rules.

No one is perfect, everyone breaks the rules including Akranadas. The difference between, lets say you and me is. I try my absolute best to follow those rules.  You, are using the errors we have commited as a lame excuse to not have to follow them in the first place. Just because we have breaked the rules in the past does not mean we don't follow them.

Akranadas is in no way a nazi moderator. He despises the idea and he has been quite nice to you. If you wan't to follow what the dev team does, then stop complaining about the rules, and try your best to follow them to make the EiR community a more pleasant place to be in.

I do not use this as an excuse to break the rules, if you will take a look at my post history you will notice I dont usually break the rules.  Atleast not that I know of.  I may not be the most popular person in the community but I certainly do not curse people out or respond with idiot replies that serve no purpose other than to increase your post count.  Hell, there are even posts in this thread that Akranadas could not have missed that break the rules, yet they are still here.

This is not about having an excuse to break the rules, if you think thats what im looking for you misunderstood this entire thread.

This is about people not respecting the rules, at the moment I dont respect the rules because certain individuals have shown they dont as well.  I believe threads like this are useless, and I believe rules are useless when they are not enforced.

Salan, I know ive said a lot on this topic.  Why? because I would prefer enforcement of the rules.  We have people on these forums who constantly break the rules and nothing happens to them.  We have devs who curse people out when they disagree.  We have devs who seems their sole objective on the forums is to reply to posts with useless remarks that have nothing to do with the thread.  What happens to them?  Well they get their post deleted, IF akranadas sees it or someone reports it.

Thats it.  Doesnt matter how many times they do it, the only thing that happens is a post gets deleted.  And if it happens enough perhaps we will see a "Dear Community... AGAIN!" post yet again.

Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realise that I had to give up my life and spend every second stalking the forums, looking for things that are bad.

Seriously, I'm an Human being, not a computer program. I can't spend 24/7 reading everything someone posts here, and you shouldn't be expecting anyone else to do the same. If the community was a little more mature, then we wouldn't have these "obvious breaks of rules" as you claim that I am missing.

If anyone throws the defence that "but Phil called you a poopoo head" then I'm just going to laugh while I suspended you.

Moderating isn't as clear just as you seem to think it is; there's no right way or wrong way to do it, it's all grey. It's all about determining what needs to be done, not what should have been done.
If you don't like how the forums run, then you don't have to post here. It not a requirement of the mod that you need to be apart of the forums; it's your choice.

And with that.
