New Version: Beta 2 Released!

06/21/08 Change-log
:
-Major height-map editing.
-Reworked atmosphere and lighting.
-Additional cover added throughout.
-Attackers from the bridge side should find it slightly easier to assault the town.
-Attackers from the field side should find it slightly easier to assault the town.
-Shot blockers added to ruined burned out structures, previously units could shoot through them, should be fixed entirely now.
-A building was removed and many were further damaged, keep in mind you should probably bring support when assaulting on this map, the map is not supposed to be too easy.
-Various details were added throughout the town.
-New loading screen.
-New preview images.
Please post any bugs or exploits you may find in the map, I probably will not be getting back to this for a few months as I will be very busy but please keep in mind that any feedback is greatly appreciated and rest assured I will attend to polishing the map when I have more time.
I am also thinking if the map is very well received that a loading screen contest could be held at some stage, much in the same manner the the Abbeville winter screenshot one was held.

They're not even lines, the fence is scattered in a zig-zag formation. As for not being able to see territories, there is nothing I can do about that unless I draw an image, sorry.

yes, they zig zag, but thats not what i mean, they just go along in a straight line
would a fence really keep its shape after being blown up? imo, no they wouldnt. if possible, try to make them look more "blown up" ,add some scatter to them

Bad fence destruction is really a CoH issue; you can see it on most maps.

Map looks good. Map entry/exit points are not on the same positions as the roads are. And just call it Foy.

Thanks for the feedback, keep posting it everyone, I will be doing massive elevation mapping over it at some stage, it takes hours upon hours to do.

Played this map today, was pretty fun, very open but urban as well. Looks like a welcome addition to the EiR maps.
The lightning is indeed a bit off, I can't remember seeing any soldiers with a skin as dark as the MG gunner here
.
