I'm constantly getting CTD, 10-15 Minutes into the game CTD, relic thing comes up, I say don't send, everytime. Not a de-synch error, a CTD. And I usually end up taking a couple players with me. How can I fix this? When I started again last night after a few days break, I downloaded some patch from the Launchpad, and that's when it all started. Last week it was working fine. Can someone help me?

There hasn't been a release in quite a while, other than launcher changes.  You might try to re-download the modification entirely...  Make sure you don't have any virus or spyware on your system...

Do you use repair bunkers?

The repair bunker bug (repair bunker is destroyed while being repaired by pios) gives all players a CTD.

No, it's nothing like that. It seems to be the first 10-15 minutes into the game. Sometimes under than that.

Freshly re-installed EIR, still CTD'ing.  Under 10 minutes.

Sounds like a hardware issue to me...  overheating hardware or bad memory.

Check your video card...I think the same thing was happening to Salan for a while and turned out to be his card's fan or something.

Friggin probably. I've got the 8600GT, the one that has been going defective for alot of people, and so it was dis-continued. Was running fine for a while.

I'm not -really- computer savvy, so. How do I know?

If you've got another video card to swap that one out for, or (perhaps an easier way to determine overheating) leave your computer case open while playing CoH.  Don't actually touch the video card, as it will be VERY hot, but if you can feel an excessive amount of heat coming from the card, you'll know that the card is going down.

Well, here's what I did. Re-installed drivers, re-booted. Tried it again in a 1v1. Got 40 Minutes into the game. INstead this time, the CTD turned into a crash. Instead of a relic message popping up. The game went down, black screen. Then this blue screen with some letters something about a diagnostic, and then complete crash.

I'm going to re-install COH, first. Before I jump the gun here. I mean This is a brand-new computer. About a month and a week ago. It, it just doesn't make sense.

Blue screening like that is almost certainly a video card or RAM fault.  They can come out of the factory like that. Is the computer still warrantied?

At this point all you can do is keep your settings cranked down to minimum to reduce strain while you try to figure things out...

I wouldn't go that far.

It can also mean bad drivers, a faulty hard drive, a bad power supply or even a bad windows install, since the install process fucks up every once in a while.

If it keeps happening, you need to right click on My Computer, go to Advanced, then Startup and Recovery settings and uncheck Automatically Restart. The actual message shown is pretty useless in itself, but google can convert it into actual information =D

Actually, I found out what it was. I have an overclocked processor, and I believe it's been over-heating during the game, since I rarely have my fan at running full %, usually mid 50's, I just have to run my fans at 100% While playing, and it fixes the problem, essentially.

Thanks for all the help, guys.
