Yup, I can even VOUCH for the allied inf. Rangers and airborne mixed in with riflemen seem to work, but I will admit, axis have it going for inf. They have like +10% everything for each doctrine, whilst the aliied inf only get buffs if they go inf or airborne. even then that's usually for specific units.
