I'm sorry airsoft and paintball fails compared to shooting a real gun!

Though I've only paintballed once, how does airsoft compare in accuracy? The most annoying thing about paintballing for me was the balls just go wherever pretty much.

A non-upgraded standard airsoft gun gets about an 8" spread at 100-115 feet.  More than enough to still nail a body shot, but not enough to be super-precise.  Naturally, wind causes airsoft BB's to fly a hell of a lot more than paintballs though, so there is a flip-side.

And real steel firearms are cool as well, I just don't own any.  I've fired:

- Long .22 Rifle
- Mini-14
- .357 Magnum
- Glock 18
- Kimber 1911
- Sig Sauer

All fun, except for the .22.  It had a serious jamming problem.

The speed and force of airsoft bb change from weapon to weapon and from country law.

In italy the max power of an airsoft gun in 1 Joule.

No one want to know but i own a tanaka kar98k, a walter p38 and an m4 with scope as standard armament

And for the next christmast i want to buy the mg42 ftw!!! (i want to instantsuppres my friend Tongue)

It seems like a lot of European countries have the 1J limit, approx. 120 meters/second with a .2 BB  if I remember.  Luckily, in the US we have no such laws.  Tongue

1 joule bullet hurts... hurts a lot... in some ex urss country the limit is 12j O_o

jes you are right, but many weapon are selled from japan and china so they start with 1.20j

That sucks because when you go to a tournament you have to spent money to un-upgrade the rifle :\

I enjoy playing Baseball, watching sporting events, talking with friends, and being funny I make quite a lot of jokes during the day.

Is being a smart-ass a hobby?

Can you guys get away with sticking one of those velocity reducers on there?  Or does the gun have to shoot 1J with no attachments?

1 j without any attachment.

My kar98k can switch from 3j back to 1 joule but i can't use it in big tournament or i get arrested from police lol, is just illegal to own one of them.
After 1 joule they are considered "weapon"

Unlucky italy is a place where buying a gun for a normal person is quite impossible
