I played my first game of EiR last night and I would like to give a high-five to the developers.  Excellent work on this fantastic mod!   Smiley

To my question: I called in a Nebel and the first 5-6 times I tried to fire it the timer reset but nothing happened.  Then all of a sudden it started working.  Any ideas why this might have happened?

Yeah this annoying bug can also come up in vCoH too. Just move it a bit and try firing again and then it should work.

Sometimes it gets stuck on the launch, so you need to move it and fire again. Also note that if you tell it fire, then move it it counts as having fired but will only launch the one rocket.

Ah, that explains it! It was threatened and I moved it to safety and that is when it started firing.  I didn't put it together.

Thanks for the help.

My calliopes sometimes get stuck when ordered to barrage as well. Barrage button yellows out as if the barrage is on-going, except no barrage occurs and the calliope sits there.

I hit stop and order the calliope to move, but it doesn't until the barrage timer runs out. Then it can move again, but the barrage is not used, and is available for instant use.

Wonder if this is related in any way to the nebel's issue.

Though I've been taking it as a jam in the firing mechanism...firing that many rockets has to result in some clogged rocket tubes once in a while.

I find it happens most often when I target something out of range, it moves into range but gets stuck in the fire position.  halting and targetting again usually fixes it.

^What Kolath said. I've only ever had this happen on artillery that is targeting something outside its range. Hit stop and retarget and it'll go.

This may be the most offensive thing I've read.  At least, today.
